Teachers Tools!!!!


Hello my blog viewer's! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted I've been a little busy lately so here I am with a few cool tools for you future teachers out there! So without far ado here's The Crazed Astronomer's Ten helpful Teacher's Tool!!!! 







Tools for Teachers.

Spezify.
This tool is a web based tool that takes search results from different media formats. With all these different media formats can be arranged on a desktop in a collage to fit the user’s visual needs. These different media formats include definitions, images, Flickr photos, quotes, wikipedia articles. This tool in a classroom will be very helpfully in researching different things from science to art. Then there’s the fact that you can rearrange the collage to fit the student’s visual needs.
SchoolWAX TV
This tool is to help anyone can find educational videos on the web. This tool gives people a safe place to watch and find these educational videos that enrich and promote learning. This tool helps students who need just a little more help with their school work. In a class setting this is a great research tool for student. It also is a good source for other teachers to get videos from.
Questionaut
This tool is a game in which student have to go thru worlds using skills in math, english, and science all to recover your friends hats. This tool not only makes learning math, english, and science it also help with motor skills. It story and game is a great way for students to learn skills. In a classroom this would be a perfect for down time in a classroom. This also helps with students keeping their skill sharp.
Pencil
This is software that lets you create traditional hand-drawn animation with windows, Mac, and Linux. This software allows the user to draw and sketch out pictures then turn them into an animation of your choosing. It uses a bitmap and vector graphics to help with drawing out your cartoon. This in a classroom would be a fun lesson to teach kids early animation techniques. This also would help with drawing lessons to help review basic drawing lessons.
Haikuls
This tool is to help teachers keep up with their lessons, grades, assessments, and scores though a gradebook tool. This rolls all these things and puts them in one place. Along with a lesson creator where you can put articles, images, audio, and videos in for your class to use. This in a classroom would be a very helpful tool for teachers to use. Not only do you have a lesson plan creator you can keep track of so many other things.
Search Crystal
This is a search engine the takes results from multiply search engine and puts them in one place. This tool lets you compare different search engines. It also lets you remix and share the results you hind with multiply social site. This in a classroom would be perfect for research. It gives the student multiply results from multiply search engines.
Montage
This web based tool it a tool that makes creating a photo album fun and easy. You get to pick a topic, add content, get information for photo from a variety sources, and share it online with other people. It’s a creative tool that almost anyone can use. This makes it a awesome tool for art teachers trying to teach their kids about portfolio’s. It also makes it ten times easier for kids to learn how to make portfolios.
Comicbrush
This tool let’s you make your very own comic using a collection of comic backgrounds, characters and props with photos of your friends, neighborhood or college. You can add speech balloons, text, and your own artwork and more, after this you can then publish it on Comicbrush. This in a classroom this is a fun assignment that can teach kids about comic and how comics works. This also helps them with composition in figuring out where to put things.

This tool you can monitor and influences color trend in the world. This tool lets you keep up to date on color to and you can check out a world of color, compare color palettes, submit news and comments, and read color related articles and interviews. This is a cool tool that will open your eyes to the wonderful world of color. In an Art classroom this will teach students not only how colors work. But also show student how colors work.
PreZentit
This tool is a tool to help you make presentations for public or private use. With this you presentation has its own web address and can be shared thru downloading. This allows for your presentation to be viewed offline as well as online. This tool in classroom not only makes making a presentation easy. But it offers a way to view it offline if the Internet is down.

A Little About Me!



         Hello my blog followers I think that my first blog post should be well about myself and what my blog is all about. Well to start things off my name is Alex Brantley. I am a Art Education major at Henderson State University, who will hopefully by the time I am done with school will also have a science minor along with an art degree. This love of art and science is what inspired me to start a blog that really is about well me and all the things that I do I am an artist, writer, musician, and yes of course a closet Astronomer (Explaining the name.) This blog will also tell you about major Astronomical events that you the reader can see, arts and crafts to do, art work that I've done over my school days, new music I am listening to of course and some interesting short story's that I've wrote.
